PRISTINE is a Norwegian classic rock band with the powerhouse singer and guitar player Heidi Solheim fronting the 5 piece band. Supported by TAME THE ABYSS this nightliner tour was one to remember for a long time. With a tight schedule of 10 shows in 10 days, challenging loading and parking situations we managed to make it a success and really fun tour, just because of the fact that every single person on the bus was a total team player. To an extent I have not experienced before. Chapeau and thanks again to all you lovely and dedicated people.

We need more Guitars! That´s what Krissy Matthews obviously thought when bringing a three hour show with 5 extra guitar players on the road. Feat. PABLO VAN DE POEL (DeWolff), ZAC SCHULZE (Zac Schulze Gang), JASON BARWICK (The Brew), NICOLAS MEIER (Jeff Beck) & RORY EVANS. Making it an annual tour now, 2026 will see even more of Krissy's own guitar heroes: GUITARMANIA 2026 will showcase no less than 6 extra players including RUSSELL MARSDEN (UK – BAND OF SKULLS), PABLO VAN DE POEL (NL – DEWOLFF), OSKAR LOGI (ISL – THE VINTAGE CARAVAN), JAX HOLLOW (USA), CONNOR SELBY (UK), PHILIPP “PHIPU” GERBER (CH).

What a pleasure to be w orking with the outstanding team of SENDESAAL BREMEN. Artistic/Managing Director Marc Niemann invited our very own TIM GARLAND LIGHTHOUSE TRIO to perform during the JAZZAHEAD Club Night Festival 2025. We were very lucky to also be able to record this remarkable show in this exceptionally well sounding hall and having Rolf Schoellkopf taking beautiful pictures.

What a year! I have been touring, I have started booking some of the most amazing jazz, funk & soul acts, I came back to playing sax again, had the most amazing trainings from fellow colleagues and at cool workshops - it just kept on getting better and better. It has been quite journey for sure and I am grateful for all those lovely people who supported me, challenged me, motivated me, encouraged me and helped me to be the best Stephie I can be. I can`t wait for 2025 to start. Let`s do it all over again! Wishing all of you a big portion of that energy. Love, Stephie 

See you again in Bremen? I had a great time at Jazzahead in Bremen last year, meeting lots of great people in the industry. Musicians as well as agencies, service providers and promoters. Achtung, hier kommt mal wieder mein persönlicher Geheimtipp - diesmal aus UK . Von dieser Lady und ihrer Band werden wir in Zukunft noch viel zu hören und zu sehen bekommen. MICA MILLAR Ihr Headliner Debut in Deutschland am Wochenende im ausverkauften Konzerthaus Dortmund hat beseelte und geflash-te Besuchende und einen komplett ausverkauften Merchstand hinterlassen. Die Nominierung für die Grammy Recording Academy wird den Rückenwind noch verstärken und sie im Mai 2024 auch auf Tour auf dem Kontinent bringen. Und das Ganze ohne ein Major Label im Hintergrund, sondern alles fein auf dem eigenen Label. Respect! Ein ähnlich gutes Gefühl hatte ich letztes Jahr im Oktober bei Samara Joy - und wir wissen ja alle, was da dieses Jahr alles passiert ist und noch passiert. Möge mein Gespür auch bei Mica richtig sein.

Wow, what a great time I had at Jazzahead in Bremen last week. I got the chance to talk to so many colleagues, musicians and jazz, funk & soul lovers and attended some amazing shows. I am looking very much forward to the new collaborations ahead, not only "Jazz ahead" :-) One of my favourite meetings was with Craig Hume from Funkgurus . Such a nice guy, such a nice roster. I'll keep you posted, peeps.

Auf dem Bild sieht es ja fast zärtlich aus, wie Krissy Matthews mit seiner Gitarre*** umgeht. Die sanften Töne und die Gitarre weinen lassen, dass es einem wie ein Pfeil ins Herz sticht - aber berüchtigt ist er vor allem dafür, dass er sein Equipment richtig ran nimmt. Seine Gitarren müssen schon einiges aushalten. Nicht nur das Publikum liebt es, auch sein Endorser ist dafür sehr dankbar. Zwar brauchen seine Gitarren dann und wann mal eine "Wartung" , aber sie ziehen seine Gitarren auch gerne zu Studienzwecken heran, um sich im Bereich "ageing" neuer Gitarren Inspiration zu holen. Bei Sandberg Guitars gibt es eine eigene Abteilung, die sich alleinig zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, neuen Gitarren eine möglichst realistische Live-Patina angedeihen zu lassen. Was bei anderen Gitarristen Jahre braucht, um den "used look" zu bekommen, schafft Krissy`viel effektiver :-) Ich durfte im Werk in Braunschweig kürzlich einen exklusiven Einblick in die Produktion und eben auch das "Ageing-Studio" werfen, während dessen Krissy`s Gitarre repariert wurde. Das war besser als "Sendung mit der Maus", richtig cool, sich alle Produktionsschritte anschauen zu dürfen. Krissy`s herzliche Seite ist nicht nur musikalisch zu sehen. Er ist ein absoluter Philanthrop und besitzt die Gabe, Menschen (und für beide Seiten wertvoll) zusammen zu bringen, sympatischtes Netzwerken.
